മധുരമേറിയും, ഇടാതെ
ചവർപ്പിച്ചും, കടുപ്പിച്ചും
തണുപ്പിച്ചും രാമേട്ടനും 
കോയക്കക്കും, രവിമാഷിനും
വിളമ്പിയ ചായ.
പേരൊന്ന് രുചി പലത്
ഗ്ലാസ്സൊന്ന് വില പലത്
കോയാക്കാന്റെ പാലൊഴിച്ചു
വെളുപ്പിച്ച ചായക്ക്
ബദലായി കടുപ്പത്തിലൊരു
കറുത്ത കട്ടൻ
ബെഞ്ചിലെത്തിച്ച രാമേട്ടൻ !
കണ്ണട ഊരി മധുരം
കുറച്ചു പത്രം കൂട്ടി
കുടിച്ച രവിമാഷ്...
ചായ വിപ്ലവത്തിന്റെ
സത്യമറിയാൻ
തമ്പടിച്ചവർക്കാകെ
അങ്കലാപ്പ്.
ഏതാണ് അസ്സൽ ചായ??
അവനവന്റെ നാക്കിനു
ചേർന്നതവന് നല്ലത്.
ബെഞ്ചിലിരുന്നൊരു
അജ്ഞാതൻ
വിളിച്ചു പറഞ്ഞു.
തേയില, പാൽ
പഞ്ചസാര, വെള്ളം
കൂട്ടിയും, കുറച്ചും ചേർത്തും,
ചേർക്കാതെയും ഉണ്ടാക്കാം
തേയില എന്ന സത്യത്തെ
മറക്കാതെ
ഇഷ്ടംപോലെ കാച്ചാം,
കുടിക്കാം, കൊടുക്കാം ...
കുടിച്ച ചായ തികട്ടി
ഓക്കാനിക്കാഞ്ഞാൽ മതി !
ഒറ്റക്ക് ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ചായയുടെ
ആവി പറന്നു വരച്ചു കാട്ടും
വിപ്ലവത്തിന്റെ ചിത്രം(ചരിത്രം )
ചായയുടെയും ഛായയുടെയും.

Its completely metaphorical with multiple layers of meanings , and various dimensions of implications.
ReplyDeletetheories , teachings , thoughts , relations , love , rain , and what not , much more things can be implied as the "chaya" here
Same rain , some feels it so deep and passionate , some get wet , some make paper boats , some waits for it without drinking water from anywhere else , some lose homes and loved ones in it , and when it's all over same sky , same earth , same wind blowing ,
Same rain affects everyone different , everyone perceives it in their own different way
I thing your insight and outlook really reflects in it
Beyond all these complexities , it can be read as a simple poem about tea and the people simply enjoys it at a teashop , that's one of the real beauty of this poem .
Like idols at temples , if looking for a metal piece , its is there .and if looking for almighty it is too there
You have reached at a peak poetess , keep going

Not only history but so many things including
theories , teachings , thoughts , relations , various emotions , rain , and what not , much more things can be implied as the "chaya" here , things that history includes and not , history records and not and presented in a beautifully ordinary way which makes this poem unique .and expertise of an experienced writer is obvious in it .
Same rain , some feels it so deep and passionate , some get wet , some make paper boats , some waits for it without drinking water from anywhere else , some lose homes and loved ones in it , and when it's all over same sky , same earth , same wind blowing ,
